It has begun: Apple fans in 25 additional countries can now purchase the iPad 2 at retail outlets and online. What are the lines like? Did you get your iPad 2? The iPad 2, which launched exclusively in the U.S. on March 11, is now available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK. Online orders, which began at 1 a.m. local time come with a “2 to 3 weeks” shipping delay. Retail sales begin in each country at 5 p.m. local time.
