Recent iPad Buyers Qualify For $100 Discount
March 3, 2011
Original iPad owners who purchased their iDevice after February 16 qualify for a discount from Apple. This follows the company’s decision to drop the price of its remaining iPad inventory by $100 per device to make way for the iPad 2 model.
Customers who qualify will receive the difference between the price they paid for the iDevice and its current price.
To get the discount, visit the store where the purchase was made and present the original receipt.
For those who purchased their iPad online, contact customer support to receive the refund.
Apple's offer is pretty generous. They did not do the same thing with the iPhone/iPod touch, unless you count the $100 in-store credit offered to early iPhone buyers in 2007.
