Pirate Subs is a fast-paced submarine blasting game that utilizes two different gameplay mechanics to deliver a unique casual gaming experience. In the game you are simply required to keep the pirate submarines from getting away by not only blasting them out of the water, but by also firing air missiles at them.
As the various types of subs come zipping across your view, you must tap on them to launch them into the air. Then, while spinning through the air, you must swipe from left to right to launch an air missile at the subs and complete their annihilation.
Failing to finish off the subs while in the air will result in them landing back in the water and scurrying off to safety. If three subs complete their trip, your game is over. Subs aren't the only things you have to worry about though, as creatures of the sea will pass by your view as well, and blasting them will result in the loss of a life.
Pirate Subs features four game modes, bonuses for destroying multiple subs at once, stat tracking, Game Center integration, and online multiplayer. There is also a Cheat Mode that allows you to fire uber bombs at mini-subs and even alter the game's gravity.
