Good News: iCloud Does LAN Syncing & Cross-App Exchange

June 6, 2011
Folks we've just been told an interesting bit of news concerning the iCloud coming from the WWDC. Apparently. the iCloud works over local networks as well. So if your iPad and iPhone or Mac are on the same WiFi, they will exchange all their data directly with each other, rather than uploading it to Apple's servers and down again. Also, developers will be able to make the iCloud exchange data between different apps. Yes that is correct, if you made a free version of your app on the iPhone and a paid version of your app for example on the iPad, they'll still be able to sync. This is a very smart move, as I'm convinced most of the exchange will work that way.  What do you think?
