Roger Ebert’s Great Movies Provides iPhone Users With His Reviews Of The Best Films

June 11, 2011
One of the most well known movie critics in the world enters the iOS market with the release of Roger Ebert’s Great Movies. This app contains over 300 of the greatest movies of all time, according to the top film critic himself. The host of Ebert Presents The Movies will provide you with the best information and reviews about his favorite movies, all with the tap of your finger. These reviews are based on his books that cover films; from the classics to contemporary, dating back to 1915. As more reviews are released by Ebert, they will be updated within the app. The app allows users to search a film by title, cast, director, date or text. There are pictures from the movie, and the reviews are available for off-line viewing. You can also share your favorite reviews with your friends via Facebook or Twitter. Links are provided to add a film to your Netflix queue or you can purchase it directly from Amazon. You can also create a list of all the movies you would like to see. Currently Roger Ebert’s Great Movies is available for the iPhone/iPod touch, hopefully we will see a universal or HD version for iPad released soon. Roger Ebert’s Great Movies costs $.99, and is currently available in the App Store. Let us know what you think about the features of this new release!
