Machinarium Release Date And Device Compatibility Revealed

You may remember our preview of the upcoming point and click adventure game, Machinarium. The game has now been submitted to Apple with a specific release date revealed.
According to Amanita Design's website, it will be coming out on September 8, and it will be exclusive to the iPad 2. The reason for this are the hardware limitations of older devices.
"Unfortunately, the game needs quite a lot of memory and fast CPU so it works well only on iPad 2. However there are no compromises in this version and it looks great on tablet. (sic) We apologize to all iPad 1 owners!" according to Amanita Design.
Machinarium is a surreal and steampunk adventure game that will make you use your logical puzzle solving skills. Gameplay revolves around flicking on various objects and finding ways to make them work together in order to advance.
Look for Machinarium on September 8, on the App Store.
