Move Over Maxim, Cosmo For Guys Arrives [Updated]

The folks behind the popular Cosmopolitan magazine for women have just released a men's magazine exclusively for iPad. In doing so, CFG: Cosmo For Guys attempts to answer one of life’s most difficult (and yes, sexist) questions: What Do Women Want? Created by Hearst Communications, Inc., the iPad magazine is intended for readers 21 and older, which is a good thing given the subject matter. Each monthly issue offers advice and specific “detailed tips and techniques that will help you satisfy her in bed and out.” Cosmo's hook, of course, is that since CFG is from the editors from “the world’s most trusted authority on women,” they somehow know more about scoring points with the opposite sex than do other magazines. Highlights from the premiere issue include:

• Sexy (and hilarious) audio samples of women’s top five bedroom noises plus the hidden meaning behind them
• A breakthrough gift guide that zeros in on the perfect present for every occasion
• Eye-popping 3-D sex positions, viewable from every angle, with advanced tips to help you master your skills

Each monthly issue, available as in-app purchases, is priced at $1.99. Or, you can signup for a yearly subscription for $19.99. CFG: Cosmo For Guys looks like an interesting magazine and one that might compete very successfully with the popular Maxim for iPad app.
