Two Popular iDevice Cases Are Recalled Due To Fire Concerns

December 2, 2011
Two popular iDevice battery cases are being recalled, according to MacRumors. The cases, one from Mophie and another from Best Buy's Rocketfish, are being recalled in partnership with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The cases include Mophie’s Juice Pack Air for the iPod touch (fourth generation) and Rocketfish’s RF-KL12 Mobile Battery Case for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. Both products are being recalled for battery overheating issues and customers are asked to stop using the cases immediately. Mophie customers are asked to contact the company at 877-308-4581 or via its recall website to receive a replacement product. Best Buy has also setup a recall website, or you may call 800-917-5737 for exchange directions.
