Atari Releases Breakout: Boost+ With 100 New Levels
Last month, Atari released Breakout: Boost, a reinvention of the 1970s arcade classic, Breakout, featuring new power ups to aid your ball during its brick-breaking mission. Although Breakout: Boost is free in the App Store, it only provides five playable levels, with any additional levels being available through in-app purchases. Now, Atari has released Breakout: Boost+ ($0.99), which includes the following (from the app description):
•100 levels included. •Sharper, enhanced graphics. •Boost Indicator: You control the speed of the game – the faster the ball goes the more points you receive! •Fire Ball, Acid Ball, Splitting Ball, Grenade Ball. •Exploding bricks, Mystery Bricks, x4 bricks, Metal bricks. •Missiles & other power-ups. •Game Center and OpenFeint Support – View your friends’ scores and achievements, no matter where they live! •Save and restore games in-progress. •Additional content coming soon!If you're skeptical about Breakout: Boost+, you can always try out Breakout: Boost, which is free.
