iOS Apps Gone Free: Death Rally, Monster Fruit, Rock Prodigy: Guitar, And More

Speed around different courses blasting away your opponents to reach the finish line first in Remedy's heart-pounding top-down racer, Death Rally. We also have an adorable avoidance game where you must play keep away with little monsters, and a music app that will help you learn how to play guitar.

iPhone:

Delivery Man ($0.99 -> Free, 27.7 MB): Play as a delivery man in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and blast away your enemies to ensure your cargo makes it to its destination. You're mounted on the back of a speeding vehicle, and you're able to fire away at your approaching enemies by tapping on the left side of the screen. As you progress through the game you'll encounter more powerful enemies, which you can dispose of even quicker by upgrading your weapons and vehicles with the cash you earn. The game also includes over 40 levels and OpenFeint integration.

Delivery Man is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 14 ratings.

Universal:

Monster Fruit ($0.99 -> Free, 54.5 MB): This adorable avoidance game requires you to keep fruit away from little monsters until they calm down. Just tap and drag the fruit all over the screen to play keep away with the four different monsters, each of which have their own special ability. You can also tickle the monsters to buy yourself some time. After the 30 seconds are up, it's finally time to feed the monsters. Your score is based on how close you can keep the fruit next to a monster without it being eaten. The game includes three environments, 21 levels, and three difficulty settings.

Death Rally ($0.99 -> Free, 90.5 MB): One of the best top-down racers to ever grace the App Store. This electrifying racing game from Remedy Entertainment features gorgeous graphics, a single player career mode with loads of unlockable and upgradable vehicles, two camera angle options, a ridiculous amount of weapons to unleash on your opponents, and Game Center integration. It also now includes online multiplayer, allowing you to trade paint with your friends in fast-paced road wars.

Death Rally is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 10041 ratings.

Rock Prodigy: Guitar ($0.99 -> Free, 53.9 MB): Finally learn how to play guitar with this music app. The app allows you to learn single notes and chords as well as advanced techniques by actually having you connect your acoustic or electric guitar to your iDevice. This process allows you to receive real-time feedback, so you'll always know if you are hitting the right notes. The app includes three demo tracks along with the ability to purchase new ones, a built-in guitar tuner, the ability to slow down tracks without changing pitch, fast-forward and rewind, and much more.

Rock Prodigy: Guitar is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 225 ratings.

Idea Generator ($2.99 -> Free, 6.7 MB): Jumpstart your brain with the Idea Generator. This entertainment app randomly combines three words to provide you with some creative inspiration. If you aren't inspired by all three words, you can lock down the ones you like and then just shake your device again to generate new ones. Ideas can be favorited for safe keeping and shared via email. You can also customize all three lists with words of your own or just remove ones you don't like.

Troll Blaster - Physics Strategy and Puzzle Game ($0.99 -> Free, 12.8 MB): Stop the evil trolls from taking over the world by destroying the structures they are housed in in this physics-based puzzle game. To fire your weapons, tap and drag away from the launcher, and then release when you believe you have the angle just right. You can choose different weapons for different scenarios by tapping on them in the top left corner of the screen. The game includes 64 challenging levels, and Game Center integration.

Troll Blaster - Physics Strategy and Puzzle Game is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 35 ratings.
