Quirky App Of The Day: Epic Meal Time

There's a television show called "Epic Meal Time" that challenges my faith in the human digestive tract. The show pretty much takes any ordinary meal experience and infuses it with as many calories as humanly possible. I watched them put bacon on a cake. Apparently, bacon is a major food staple for these guys. The Epic Meal Time app is a compilation of videos from the show. It's still just as calorie-hyped and bacon-lined as the TV show.
I watched them bake a cake that contained a combined 61,000 calories. No, that's not too many zeroes. It was a five digit calorie count by the time they were done with it. They added candy, Twinkies, ice cream bits, Ding Dongs, Ho-Hos and, of course, bacon. I sat there slowly feeding myself Skittles while my stomach and mouth protested.
There are other favorites from the show, such as the meat garden, meat mummy, and the six digit, calorie-packed episode of the bacon tree. I even sat down and watched them cook brains. No, I don't know what animal they're from. Right now, I don't want to think too hard on it. Believe it or not, they actually do sit down and eat what they have cooked. At least they try it. I'm not entirely sure if it always stays down, but it goes into their mouths.
The show does have some swearing. I say "some" because they do censor some of the language. It's still rated for those over the age of 17.
Epic Meal Time is a universal app available in the App Store for the awesome price of FREE!
