Well, that was fast. After the iPhone Dev-Team revealed that iOS 5.1 has some vulnerabilities that would allow a possible jailbreak for the new iPad, iOS hacker MuscleNerd has posted images of Cydia running on the new iPad.
This is great news for jailbreakers. It took months for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S to be jailbroken. The new iPad hasn't even been in the hands of customers for 24 hours, and its been proven to be jailbreakable. We aren't in the clear just yet, as MuscleNerd states there is no ETA on a public jailbreak. As always, we'll keep you posted. Would you jailbreak your new iPad?jailbroken iPad3: twitpic.com/8x48rt twitpic.com/8x48xg(Just a first step, still lots of work to do!No ETA!)
