The New iPad Should Arrive This Friday Morning At ...

New signage suggests the new iPad will officially arrive this Friday at 8 a.m. local time. According to 9 to 5 Mac, Apple is in the process of putting up artwork saying as such at each of the company’s US retail locations. According to the report, the new signage says:

We assume this news also means international stores will also open at 8 a.m. local time. Last year, Apple officially made the iPad 2 available at 5 p.m. local time. Also:
Additionally we’re hearing that there is big overnight for retail on Thursday, and all available hands will be on deck Friday morning.  Additionally, those retail employees who are working outside of normal store hours are getting an additional 10% wage increase for their time.
As a reminder, the new iPad arrives on Friday in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, UK and the US Virgin Islands. The third generation tablet will be available by the end of March in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
