In December 2011, Jadynut Studio released their debut title, Jet Rats HD. The game went unnoticed by most people by however. Not one to be put off, Jadynut Studio reworked the title and released Jetrats Defense (FREE).
The developer collected user feedback on the original Jet Rats HD title, and worked hard to update the tower defense game. A short trailer has been released for Jetrats Defense, to give you an idea about what to expect from the title:

Jetrats Defense is more than just your standard tower defense title, mixing the expected gaming mechanics with some manic shooter gameplay. According to the website, the game also features:

- 27 Defense Weapons
- 30 Defense Levels
- 3 Boss battles
- 3 Survival Levels
- Stunning 2D Art
- Smooth Animation and Cool FXs
- Game Center Leaderboards, Achievements
Jetrats Defense is now also a universal app, although it still feels more at home on the iPad. While tower defense games are a dime a dozen, Jetrats Defense does offer enough to help it stand out from the crowd.
Jetrats Defense is a free, ad-supported title. The ads can be removed, however, via a $0.99 in-app purchase. There are also new levels and optional perks available for purchase.
While Jetrats Defense has plenty of competition, if you are a fan of the tower defense genre, it’s well worth picking. It’s free so what have you got to lose?
