Mint.com App Gets Update Treatment

Mint.com App Gets Update Treatment

May 23, 2012
Eight months after it arrived for iPad, the Mint.com app is out with a new update. Mint Version 2.4 for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad now includes budget features and more. Originally launched on the Web in 2007, Mint.com was purchased by Intuit, the makers of Quicken and TurboTax, in 2009. Its primary service is to allow users to track their bank, credit card, investment, and loan transactions, all without a monthly free. Mint.com iOS users now have the ability to create and edit budgets, as well as split transactions, giving them a better look at their financial picture. With the new update, Mint iPhone and iPad users can now:
  • Create and edit a budget while out and about: Set up budgets from your iPad or iPhone and edit it along the way—wherever and whenever you want. With the new budget slider feature, you can set a more realistic budget by increments for more control of your finances.
  • Split transactions: Shopping for multiple things from different budgets at one store? Get a more accurate view of your spending by easily separating out purchases from one transaction into different categories, right on your mobile device.
Download the free (and universal) Mint.com app today in the App Store.
