Zombie Fleet ($0.99) by Chillycode is a physics-based game that is lacking gravity, but not lacking quality. Put your skills to the test as you float through space, killing the undead and saving humanity.
Players control the last marine alive in the space fleet. A zombie attack has turned the rest of the crew into undead brain eaters. Using gravity and the ship’s magnetic system, players move the marine through various levels and back to safety.
The movement is controlled by magnetic fields that either pulls the space suit that the marine is wearing toward it, or pushes it away. There are times when you will need to pull and push the marine with both magnetic fields in order to get it to the destination.
The goal of each level is to collect coins, kill zombies and get to the portal by using as few bursts of the magnetic fields as possible. If you use up the magnetic fields’ energy, you lose. The best way to keep the energy level low is to tap the fields’ buttons instead of holding them down.
This game is fun and has clever zombie-related graphics. The gameplay is different than your average physics-based game because you use magnetic fields to manipulate movement. The price is perfect at only $0.99. There are 90 levels to beat and, although they are easy to get through, it is difficult to earn a gold medal on most of them. If you are a fan of physics-based games, give Zombie Fleet a try. You won’t be disappointed.
