Awkward! Apple Launches ‘Do Not Disturb’ Commercial After New Year's Glitch

When you woke up this morning, you may have noticed that your iPhone didn’t shut off your Do Not Disturb feature so you could sleep in without being interrupted by your mom’s early morning text messages. The iOS 6 notification-silencer had a mind of its own this morning and decided to stay on, even for users who didn’t want it on.
To make the amusing glitch even funnier, Apple just happened to launch a new commercial this morning featuring Do Not Disturb.
The advertisement shows tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams competing against an unseen first person player in a game of table tennis. The narrator tells the viewers that he is having a really cool dream, which he won’t be woken from by his iPhone thanks to the Do Not Disturb feature, “Because disturbing this would be … wrong.”
The timing couldn’t be better or worse, depending on who you are.
