How To Launch App Specific Settings With Siri In iOS 7
When iOS 6 was released, Siri was given the ability to launch any app on your device. For avid Siri users, this feature definitely came in handy. Now thanks to iOS 7, a new feature has been added to Siri’s app launching capabilities. Siri now has the ability to launch app-specific settings in iOS 7. If an app has options available within the Settings app, you can quickly launch them using a simple Siri command. Take a look at our video tutorial below:
If you can’t see the above video, please click this link.If you’re using an app that has options available within the Settings app, invoke Siri and say, “launch settings.” This command will immediately launch any settings related to the app that you're using. If you'd like to launch to the main page of the Settings app, you can say, "launch the Settings app." If an app doesn’t have settings available, you will see the following message: [caption id="attachment_468871" align="aligncenter" width="169"] No settings available.[/caption] In my opinion, this is a very handy feature and it's a little faster than manually exiting the app, launching the Settings app, then navigating to its options.
