The First Official Apple Store For iPad App Is Here
November 20, 2013
Apple has brought its online marketplace to the iPad. The official Apple Store app for iPad is available for download now, just in time for the holidays.
Not surprisingly, the app looks a lot like the company’s online store. However, it adds pinch gestures to zoom, browse, and compare, which makes it a unique retail experience.
The main page prominently displays a photo of the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display, and includes links to make a purchase. Scrolling up displays additional products including the iPhone 5s, and MacBook Pro. There is also a “Top Gifts” and “Now Tending” section.
A top menu provides a standard navigation tool, which includes four links. These include Shop Mac, Shop iPad, Shop iPhone, Shop iPod, and Apple Retail Store.
