You’re able to monitor as many vehicles as necessary. Just tap the gray knob in the top right corner to pop open the vehicle list or spin to select. When adding a new vehicle, make sure to include information like current mileage, average distance traveled per day, and the last time it was serviced. The app is able to calculate the due date of all of your services based on the information you enter and remind you when it’s time to take your vehicle in. Small icons with colored progress bars help you get a quick overview of what’s needed to be done. The app also allows you to track your fuel efficiency.
RememberTheOil – Car Maintenance is available for free today only (09/01). It has a 4-star rating with a total of 159 ratings.
You’re able to create and organize as many lists as necessary, and access them all with a left to right swipe. Swipe down to create a new task, which can include a due date, reminder, and priority level. A right to left swipe on a task allows you to edit it. The app also includes the ability to add tasks to your calendar, and iCloud support.
Taasky – Beautiful Task & To-Do List is available for free today only (09/01). It has a 4-star rating with a total of 330 ratings.
Universal:
Choose from eight different lesson categories that cover everything from order of operations and prime numbers to exponent product rule and factorization. The animated lessons make it easy to follow along, and you’re able to just drag to rearrange, tap to simplify, and draw lines to eliminate identical terms. Problems are randomly generated, so you can practice as often as you want. The app also includes the ability to create your own set of problems and sync them across all of your iDevices via iCloud.
Algebra Touch is available for free today only (09/01). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 1509 ratings.
Keep the ball in the air by continuously sliding your paddle under it via touch or tilt controls. Try to collect power-ups while avoiding all of the power-downs that come streaming down. The game includes more than 100 levels loaded with all kinds of crazy objects to destroy, more than 20 power-ups and power-downs, two modes, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.
Anodia is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 4188 ratings.
You can choose from 27 different paper styles, more than 25 stamps, nine layouts, multiple caption styles, all kinds of different fonts, and six speech balloon styles. When your image is complete, you can share it via Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, or email, or you can send it to other apps like Instagram, Camera+, and Color Splash.
Halftone is available for free today only (09/01). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 713 ratings.
Eddy allows you to tap into your Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, or OneDrive account. You can then stream any MP3, AAC, M4A, WAV, AIFF, or M4R files located within. Your files can be copied, moved between cloud services, renamed, and even downloaded for offline play. The app also includes search, AirPlay support, and the ability to create playlists.
Eddy – cloud music player & downloader, audio books from Dropbox, OneDrive, Box and more is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 8 ratings.
The five sports include frisbee, balloon throwing, roller skating, water skiing, and hang gliding. Each sport introduces a new mechanic you’ll have to master in order to climb the leaderboards. All of the points you gather from each sport go towards your total score, which will allow you to more easily compare your skills with your friends. Beach Games also includes local and daily high scores, loads of stat tracking, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
