Learn something new and satisfy your Daily Curiosity

The World Around You
June 23, 2015

A new app called Daily Curiosity aims to teach you something fresh and interesting every day. Want to learn more about penny-farthing? Wondering why the government intended to use bombs attached to bats during World War II? Daily Curiosity brings you some very odd, yet fascinating content.

Every day you can count on learning about five topics from history to technology. If you miss a day, no problem, just swipe to the left to see content from previous days. Swipe up on any day to browse through the digest’s five topics.

When you choose a topic to learn about, you are given a plethora of information including videos. You will see the Key Facts To Know section, which provides a nice summary of data. Then just scroll down a bit further for complete details on the topic, read the full article on Wikipedia, or share the link via text, email or social media.

Daily Curiosity DetailDaily Curiosity provides notifications at the time of day you choose. This is convenient, however, email notification settings act a bit quirky. You have options for daily, weekly, monthly, or featured emails. But, when trying to turn off any of these, they seem to turn right back on again. Other than that little bug, the app works well. The images are crisp, the videos play without issue, and the topics provide a good amount of information.

Daily Curiosity is designed for iPhone and available for free with no in-app purchases on the App Store.
