Just pull the Trigger for hot news, before it’s trending
You browse through your news app or Twitter feed every morning and see tons of headlines. But, with such a long list and so many options, it can be hard to spot the hottest, most popular stories at a glance. Trigger keeps you informed and up-to-date with news and content from all over the Web, before it’s actually trending. The app determines popularity of the headlines to get those stories to you first.
Trigger news and content
The app brings you news from CNN, Reuters, Time, The Verge, Bon Appetit, and so many other sources. Check through the Trending section for what’s hot now, look at what is most Recent, and mark your favorites to read later. You can also browse through categories like science, sports, world, or national news. For lighter stories, change the mood by selecting the moon icon and then read up on music, fashion, humor, or food and drink.
Vote, comment, and share
You can vote for stories to move them up the list for others to see faster. Make comments and then share your most liked stories via text, email, or on social media. You can also connect your Twitter account to look at Overlooked stories that you and your friends should be checking out, but aren’t.
Nice app, lots of content
Trigger has stories for every interest, from all over the Web. The mood switcher for lighter news is a nice touch. The interface is intuitive and smooth and the app provides an easy way to share stories plus see how many times they have been shared. Trigger is also very responsive and each piece of content not only loads quickly, but allows you to go directly to the source with the click of a button.
Trigger is designed for iPhone and available for free with no in-app purchases on the App Store.
