One of the nicest features of the GoPro camera is the ability to control it using the iPhone app. With the GoPro App, you can easily control your camera, view your photos and videos, and share your favorites. You’re also able to edit your videos, pull still shots from them, and adjust camera settings. To make it even easier to organize and share your best moments, the GoPro App has been updated to add Apple Watch compatibility and more.

Apple Watch control and viewing

From your wrist, you can now control your camera and add HiLight Tags to key moments while recording. You can also preview shots and see the moon phase and weather information from your GoPro camera.

Better media control and organization

With the updated app, you can quickly flip through a video frame-by-frame to find that epic moment and download a high-quality still image of it. You can also filter your media to display just photos, HiLights, or clips. Nearly everything is now viewable on iOS, meaning you can get a preview that allows you to view high frame-rate video straight from your iPhone.
