iPhone screen recording just got easier on iOS 11.

We live in a world where millions of hours of video are recorded and consumed on our mobile devices each year. Therefore, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that beginning with iOS 11 you can record whatever you do on your mobile device screen.

One-time AppAdvice writer Dom Esposito recently posted a video which shows the new feature in action in the iOS 11 beta. Take a look:

It will be interesting to see what limits Apple puts on this feature between now and when iOS 11 is released to the public this fall. Even in the first iOS 11 beta, for example, you can’t record copyrighted content (hi, Netflix). Other restrictions will surely follow.

To get access to the video recording feature in the first iOS 11 beta, developers should go into the Settings app and click on Control Center. From there, be sure to add “Screen Recording” to the Include section.

Now, you’ll see the Screen Recording icon under Control Center.
