Get An All Access Pass Into The Life Of Kevin Smith With His New iPhone App

Kevin Smith, the often praised writer/director/actor, now has his own official iPhone app thanks to developer DenVog.  Of all of the celebrity-related iPhone apps out there, this one seems to make the most sense considering the man is actually somewhat funny, and he seems to have an interest in the technology we all enjoy, as he will be making an appearance at this year's Macworld Expo to talk about the use of technology in independent film making. Here is a little intro to the app from Kevin Smith himself:

"Yes, it may be the Pet Rock of the 21st century. But be honest: you've spent .99 cents on way dumber crap. If you're remotely into my nonsense, at the very least, this me-centric app will make you smile. At the very most, you'll put a noose around your neck, utter "It's all for you, Official Kevin Smith iPhone App!", and step off a ledge. The Kevin Smith iPhone app is loaded with content that any fan can appreciate.  Upon first launching the app, you are brought to the Cheese stream, which features candid photos straight from the world of Kevin Smith.  The app also contains Kevin Smith's official Twitter feed, a Rant button that spouts out memorable and sometimes 17+ lines, news from the View Askew Universe, the ability to create your own fan photo with Silent Bob, and my personal favorite, a custom Kevin Smith ringtone. Alright, so there is still a whole bunch of other media that I haven't even talked about yet, but you should just check out the app for only $.99.  It would be easier and much more entertaining than reading from a list.
