Exclusive: Five Of Pangea's iPad Games Priced And Dated

March 26, 2010

Nearly all of Pangea Software's Mac OS games have made their way to the iPhone and iPod touch in a much smaller and touch controlled form, and now they have been resized and optimized once again, only this time for the iPad's big launch on April 3rd. According to our source, Pangea will have five iPad-optimized games available for the device's launch on April 3rd.  The games that will be included in the launch are:
  • Enigmo Deluxe
  • Nanosaur 2
  • Bugdom 2
  • Otto Matic
  • Cro-Mag Rally
Nanosaur 2, Bugdom 2, Otto Matic, and Cro-Mag Rally will all feature iPad-optimized controls and graphics, but Enigmo Deluxe has been given a little extra attention. Enigmo Deluxe will feature a built-in level editor that will allow you to create, edit, and play your own levels, and it will contain over a dozen free level packs in addition to the 50 regular levels, giving you hundreds of levels to play.  Enigmo Deluxe's soundtrack will also be new, with music from acclaimed Spanish guitarist Stefan Schyga. From what we have gathered, it appears all five games will be priced at $9.99.  Since most of these games retail for $19.99 for the Mac OS, it seems to be about on par.  However, as we all know by now, developers like to fidget with App Store prices, so we will just have to see if these stick.
