The official Twitter for iPhone application is the latest to join the ever-growing club of iOS 4-compatible multitasking apps.
With the app's new version (3.0.1) now able to run in the background, you'll finally be able to send tweets while jumping in and out of other applications. Twitter for iPhone will now also remember your place when you leave the app, meaning that you don't have to relaunch it every time you return.
Along with support for iOS 4, the update also brings Retina Display-friendly graphics, and "more secure" tweeting.
So if you've got an iPhone 3GS running iOS 4, or are one of the lucky few to have already unpacked an iPhone 4, head over to the App Store and download the update now!
