Video Footage Comparison: iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, Flip Ultra HD And DROID X

A series of videos which show how the iPhone 4's HD camcorder compares with the iPhone 3GS, Flip Ultra HD, and the DROID X have been posted on iLounge and Boy Genius Report, First, let's take a look at iPhone 4 vs. Flip Ultra HD. Both are recording at 720p, keep in mind the iPhone 4 has the additional feature of tap to focus. In addition to these videos, Boy Genius Report also posted a comparative video made up of two clips: one recorded on the iPhone 4, and another recorded on the DROID X. Again, both record in HD at 720p. The iPhone records in the MOV H.264 format, while the DROID X records in the 3GP MPEG-4 format at twice the bitrate.
