Dropbox Updated, A Few Subtle Changes Made

Dropbox, the popular application for iPhone and iPad, has just received another update that brings some subtle changes to the app. The universal application is already iOS 4-compatible, and has been multitasking on iPhone 3GS and 4 handsets for some time. A series of updates have continually improved and expanded the features of Dropbox, and this latest update (1.2.4) is no exception.
The update makes a few changes to the photo and video upload quality, which has now been upgraded for the iPhone 4. As opposed to the previous 'High' video quality, we now have a maximum quality of 'HD' - allowing users to interact with videos shot on their iPhone's 720p HD camcorder.
Additionally, some subtle changes to passcode locking increases the security of Dropbox. This is a little-mentioned, yet paramount feature of the application, especially for those users who sync a large number of personal/business files with the app.
Lastly, a few minor bugs have been fixed, meaning that the stability of the app is better in general. A bug that affected exporting favorites has been eradicated, along with another error that occurred during audio playback.
So be sure to head over to the App Store on your computer or iDevice, and download the update for Dropbox today! And, if you haven't yet tried this brilliant file-syncing application, then be sure to take a look at it. The app (and the service) is free, so you'd be silly not to.
