We Rule Updated, Makes Ruling A More Stable Occupation

July 22, 2010

If you're a fan of the Farmville-meets-Age of Empires style game, We Rule, then be sure to load up the App Store on your iPhone and download the app's latest update, which was released yesterday. This new version (1.1.3) brings a series of stability updates, meaning that users can now farm and build without the constant fear of the application crashing - something that used to be a regular feature of the game (at least, for me). Here's what We Rule's developer, ngmoco, said regarding the update on its blog:
Fixed an issue that would cause buildings to flicker or not render and building notification bubbles to appear strangely or not at all. Fixed a crash that would occur for some players upon loading their Kingdom. Fixed a crash that would occur for some players when viewing the social map, moving between Realms, or visiting a friend's Kingdom. Made substantial improvements to how We Rule handles memory, improving performance. Fixed a number of other various crashes identified from submitted reports and crash logs
The game itself allows users to take control of a virtual kingdom, which involves planting crops (and harvesting them), along with building a variety of structures - such as cottages and mines - which bring in revenue. Players gain experience points and level up, which in turn unlocks more desirable crops and structures. The game is free, so if you haven't given it a go yet be sure to check it out. So, be sure to check the App Store for We Rule's recent update now! And, let us know how the update works for you in the comments box below. Anything you'd like to see added?
