According to figures recently released by Millennial Media (a large mobile advertising network), 55% of smartphone ads are displayed on an Apple iPhone.
Millennial's Mobile Mix report for July 2010 highlights Apple and its iPhone as holding the majority of mobile ads. Out of all mobile ads, Apple holds 35%.
After Apple came Samsung (17%), RIM (10%), Motorola (9%) and HTC (7%). As you can tell, the delta between first and second place is quite substantial - and only serves to emphasize the dominating position Apple holds over the consumer electronics market.
