Turn your iPhone or iPod touch into a window to the world. Glance at traffic cams before you head out, get a glimpse of the weather with skyline views, or just fall into a daydream viewing beautiful beaches from dozens of coastlines around the globe.
WorldView+, your mobile companion for Webcams.travel, provides easy means to discover, share, manage, and marvel at over 14,000 webcams. The app supports both landscape and portrait. Most navigation is done during portrait orientation, but landscape view turns the UI into an elegant gallery-style navigation, scrollable with simple left or right swipes.
You can discover webcams around you, search for specifics, check out those that are a hit, or just let luck pick your visual destination with a randomly created list. To refresh the random list, you can either tap on the upper-left refresh button or shake your iDevice.
For each webcam, you can add it to your WorldView+ bookmarks (top-right), check out the current weather conditions and time information, view a list of related Wikipedia entries, show the location on a map, or send a link to a friend via email.
While viewing a webcam, there are a handful of nifty options. Along the bottom, you have an add to bookmarks, time-lapse video, previous or next cam, save the current image to your Camera Roll, and flip back to the previous options. The top-right contains either a manual refresh button, or a play/pause when viewing one of the over 200 live video feeds.
Modify your preferred external map app, adjust image refreshing, opt-in or out for crash data reporting, and enable or disable anonymous bookmark backup under the WorldView+ section within your iDevice's Settings application.
