Thankfully, one site (spotted by iSpazio) can answer this question for you. It's called iDevice jailbreak & unlock wizard, and it does exactly what the name implies. Simply input your iDevice, model, and iOS, and this clever site will tell you exactly which jailbreak tool you need (plus links!). If users want to go one step further, they can input their baseband and discover the relevant unlock tool, too.
