Angry Birds - Multiplayer And Sequel Coming Soon?

The popular iOS game, Angry Birds, could have a sequel - and multiplayer functionality - on the way soon, according to a recent post by TiPb.
According to Rovio CEO Peter Vesterbacka, the sequal to Angry Birds will focus more on the pigs rather than the birds. Additionally, he also noted:
Multiplayer Angry Birds will be like old school Worms games. Multiplayer is a priority, but we have not determined the best way for our players to experience it yet.And, what's more, it has also been reported that Angry Birds will soon become a Facebook game, and will spawn a TV or film adaptation.
