Apple Updates Find My iPhone Application

November 22, 2010
Apple's Find My iPhone iOS application has just been updated, following the announcement of a free Find My iPhone service for iDevice owners. Earlier today, Apple announced that its useful Find My iPhone service is now available for non-MobileMe subscribers. This is great news; the service is one of the only reasons I would personally consider purchasing a MobileMe subscription. If you want to set up Find My iPhone for free on your iDevice, check out the relevant page over at Apple.com. Following this, Apple has updated its Find My iPhone iOS application, which is currently available for free in the App Store. Here's what Apple says in the app's release notes:
You can use Find My iPhone for free with your iPhone 4, iPad, or 4th generation iPod touch that has iOS 4.2 installed. Or you can use Find My iPhone with a paid MobileMe subscription.
So, what are you waiting for? Download Find My iPhone's latest update, and sign up for the free service now! And, be sure to let us know your thoughts regarding Find My iPhone in the comments. [gallery]
