Great news, Fruit Ninja fans: the popular iOS application is scheduled to receive a great update today. The update adds a new arcade mode for users to enjoy!
Here's what the app's developer, Halfbrick, has to say about the update:
Announcing Arcade Mode, the most intense and exciting addition to Fruit Ninja yet! It adds so much more to the value and satisfaction of Fruit Ninja, while still keeping the simplicity and ease of play as top priority! Players have 60 seconds on the clock to achieve the highest score possible, but this isn’t any old boring 60 seconds. We’ve added some serious power in the form of bonus colored bananas which fly up on screen. Slice one of those and get ready for action!Additionally, Fruit Ninja fans can take advantage of frenzy and freeze mode. If things are a bit quiet, and you'd rather have more fruit glide across the screen to swipe at, then hit frenzy mode and the fruit will fly! Alternatively, if things are getting a little too hot, freeze mode will slow the action right down. And, the best news? Not only is the update going to hit the iPhone and iPad at the same time, but it'll also be a free update! Don't you just love Halfbrick? The update is scheduled to hit the App Store today, so keep your eyes peeled. In the meantime, be sure to check out the video below for a sneak peek at the upcoming Fruit Ninja update.
