Humor: iPad Mounted On A Wooden Stick, And Used In A Lithuanian Protest

November 11, 2010
Apple's "magical and revolutionary" iPad has recently been attached to a wooden stick, and used as a digital protest banner. As 9to5Mac's tipster notes:
If the Western World use iPad for business and entertainment, in Lithuania the iPad is used by pensioners in demonstrations against the government. You just have to mount it on a wooden stick, and you ready to go. [sic]
Personally, I think it works pretty well. Though you wouldn't catch me mounting my iPad on a wooden stick, I'm even nervous about using the Wallee. Perhaps in 10 or 15 years, all protesters will use tablets instead of paper posters. Or maybe not. After all, paper is easier to burn.
