iTunes 10.1 Is Now Available: Includes AirPlay And iOS 4.2 Support
November 12, 2010
Apple has just pushed out iTunes 10.1 in preparation for the launch of iOS 4.2. The updated version doesn't add a ton of features, however, as Software Update simply states:
• Use AirPlay to instantly and wirelessly stream videos from iTunes to the all-new Apple TV.
• Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.2.
• Provides a number of important stability and performance improvements.
If you're having troubles using Software Update, here are some direct download links:
• Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or 10.6 Snow Leopard
• Windows XP, Vista, or 7 x86 (32-bit)
• Windows XP, Vista, or 7 x64 (64-bit)
Is this a hint that iOS 4.2 might be arriving very soon, or even today? So far, it hasn't hit yet, but anything is possible.
