Apple TV Receives A Minor Update

December 15, 2010
Today, Apple updated its Apple TV firmware. The update brings two fixes, according to an Apple support page: a "TV resolution fix," and a "download fix." As noted by Apple, major issues addressed by the update include:
TV resolution fix - Addresses an issue that causes some high-definition TVs to incorrectly display at 480p. Download fix - Addresses an issue that may cause a movie or TV show to be re-downloaded.
You can check out the update information for yourself, by heading over to the Apple TV (2nd generation) software updates webpage. If your Apple TV 2G device has successfully been updated, feel free to let us know in the comments below.
