The creator of SoundPrism unleashes the holiday-themed SoundFlavors Christmas Edition. SoundFlavors Christmas Edition allows kids and adults alike to bring alive the melodies of Christmas carols without ever needing music lessons.
Once you choose a song, the app will give you a demo, which is nice if you don't know or recall the tune in question. Tap on the large glowing dots as your guide. You can still tap or swipe anywhere else to make sound but the guide is there to help you stay along with the music.
One of the cool tips, which is pointed out in the embedded YouTube video below, is to swipe left or right from the guide circle. Not only does this add potency to your playback, but once you get the 'feel' for it, you'll be able to turn these compositions into really powerful and even unique performances. All of this is thanks to Audanika's SoundPrism engine.
Using the Send Greetings function, you can send family, friends, or even yourself a copy of your masterful performance. The file is emailed in AAC format with an iPhone ringtone extension. This makes for painless playback in QuickTime or iTunes, plus a cinch to use it as a temporary ringtone to spread the Christmas cheer. Those with a copy of SoundFlavors Christmas Edition can even listen to your performance within the app.
Because of the guide dots and the requirement to tap two opposite corners simultaneously to return to the menu, you can allow the little ones to play without worrying about them accidentally tapping all sorts of menu options.
