Friendly For Facebook Goes Free: Ad-Supported Version Available Now!

The popular iPad application, Friendly for Facebook, is now available in a free ad-supported version.
The free version of Friendly for Facebook hit the App Store on December 1. Currently, a paid version of the application is still available ($0.99). The only difference between both versions is the presence of mobile advertisements in the free version of Friendly. If you're unfamiliar with this unofficial Facebook app, here are some of Friendly's best features, taken from the application's release notes:
Friendly is currently a very important iOS application. As of this moment, Facebook hasn't released an official "Facebook for iPad" app, leaving many iPad owners unhapy. However, with Friendly, iPad owners can get their Facebook fix on the go, without having to load Facebook in Safari. Now the application is available for free, Friendly is sure to gain even more interest than it has already received. Furthermore, this move will undoubtedly please a great many iPad owners. Cyril Moutran, co-founder of the development company responsible for Friendly, told TechCrunch:

- - Easy switch between multiple Facebook accounts

It’s held the top overall spot for paid applications for more than 40 days, and it’s been the top paid social media iPad app since we launched version 1.0.
