Showtime has a number of features you should find useful. Choose between black or white user interface and background themes, pick any album or the Camera Roll from the iOS Photos app, display a single large or multiple photos simultaneously, download photos in original quality, and control the experience from your iDevice or the computer.
Within the
Showtime app, you can tap on the small arrow in the top-right to show and hide slideshow controls and the multi-image or single image toggle switch. Multi-image mode continues to add photos to a gallery grid as more and more are selected (tapped). Changing albums and selecting photos on your iDevice provides instant updating on connected computers.
There are two ways in which to direct your desktop or laptop's web browser to the
Showtime app.
Showtime will display your iDevice's current local IP and the proper port to enter into your browser's URL bar, or you can jump to
http://go.aptogo.co.uk/iPhone while the app is open on your iDevice.
The Aptogo URL works with the company's servers doing an anonymous IP resolution and rerouting, which seems to work quite well. You can change the device name and port, plus verify the bookmark and IP information within the Connection area of the
Showtime app. If, for whatever reason, you don't feel comfortable with the bookmark registration feature, you can disable it.
