AT&T On Verizon iPhone: Users Will Be In The "Slow Lane"

AT&T has already commented on the upcoming Verizon iPhone. As Business Insider notes, AT&T PR boss Larry Solomon has stated that users of the Verizon iPhone will be in the "slow lane."
Here's what he said:
The iPhone is built for speed, but that's not what you get with a CDMA phone. I'm not sure iPhone users are ready for life in the slow lane.Ouch. Interestingly, AT&T has outright confirmed the Verizon iPhone here (as if we didn't already have enough proof). Furthermore, the company has started what is sure to become a war of words between the two carriers. What are your opinions on Verizon as a carrier?
