CES: New Slacker Radio iPad App Coming Soon!

January 7, 2011
The popular music subscription service, Slacker Radio, has announced a variety of treats at CES. Among these are plans for "on-demand streaming," and a new iPad application. Currently, Slacker Radio is available to download for free in the App Store. However, it is not a universal app, it regularly crashes, and features intermittent ads between songs. In short, there's room for improvement. Fortunately, according to a recent post by Mashable, Slacker Radio is going to make a variety of changes to the service it currently offers:
1). A new (paid) subscription tier called Slacker Premium Radio (for web, iPad, iPhone, Android and Blackberry) that features on-demand access to the entire Slacker library, top charts, station playlists, etc. 2). A brand-new iPad app, as well as apps for Nokia smartphones and Verizon 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network-based smartphones. 3). Unlimited free Slacker Radio for Canadian listeners.
If you're a Slacker fan, you'll undoubtedly appreciate this. We'll keep you posted on the status of Slacker Radio's iPad app as more news becomes available. In the meantime, you can check out some screenshots of the upcoming application below.
