Camera Mic - Take Photos Using Your iPhone's Microphone

February 9, 2011
Camera Mic is a new iOS app that allows users to take pictures using the iPhone's built-in microphone. Instead of pushing a virtual button on your iPhone's screen, Camera Mic allows users to tap the microphone, or say a pre-set word, to take a photograph. If you're interested in Camera Mic, you might want to consider getting it fast. Apple isn't usually very keen on apps that use such custom mechanisms to take pictures. A while back, we saw a somewhat similar app - Quick Snap - get pulled from the App Store because it allowed users to take pictures using the volume buttons. Obviously, Camera Mic is an incredibly handy app - especially if you often take self portraits, or suffer from sweaty hands. As of this moment, you can download Camera Mic from the App Store for $0.99. Check it out, and if you like the app, let us know in the comments. [via MacStories]
