Images Of Lighter, Higher Quality iPad 2 Screen Discovered

February 2, 2011
Several alleged images of the second generation iPad's screen have been discovered. While it is not yet known if the screen's resolution is higher, we have heard that it is lighter, and of a higher quality "in terms of its build." This news comes from 9to5Mac, who got their hands on the screen and posted some images (above, below). Apparently, the new screen is more than a millimeter thinner than the first generation iPad's screen. This fits with the belief that Apple's second generation iPad will be significantly thinner and lighter than its predecessor. Apple's second generation device is also rumored to be faster, and feature front and rear facing cameras for FaceTime. We've also heard that it will feature an anti-reflective screen, which may be of a higher resolution. We'll keep you posted on the iPad 2. In the meantime, take a look at some of the images below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
