In Case You Were Wondering, iOS 4.3 Doesn't Support iPhone 3G

Apple's iOS 4.3 webpage is now live, and it appears that iOS 4.3 will not support the iPhone 3G. This was expected, as Apple has not yet released a beta version of iOS 4.3 for the iPhone 3G. According to the "compatibility" section of Apple's iOS 4.3 webpage, it looks like this is the end of the line for the second generation iPhone.
Interestingly, Apple decided to label the iPhone 3GS as "iPhone 3Gs" - specifically with a lowercase "s." This is confusing - in the past, Apple has generally referred to the "iPhone 3GS," as opposed to the "iPhone 3Gs."
However, we do not think that this refers to both the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS - perhaps we would, if Apple had provided beta versions of iOS 4.3 for iPhone 3G users. But, the evidence seems to indicate that iOS 4.3 will not support the iPhone 3G, unfortunately.
If you own an iPhone 3G, how does this make you feel? Ready to upgrade, moving to the Android camp, or are you just saving up for a shiny new iPad 2? Let us know in the comments.
