Apple Staffer: iPad 3 Is "The One To Make A Song And Dance About"

March 1, 2011
An anonymous Apple staffer has recently made a few comments about the upcoming second generation iPad, telling fans not to "get [their] hopes up too high," as the iPad 2 is "more of a speed bump than a redesign." However, the staffer also noted that the iPad 3 is "the one to get excited about," and - more importantly - that the device will launch this year.
Last month was when we first heard about the possibility of an iPad 3 in 2011. Apparently, Apple will release a second generation iPad as expected, around March or April. However, this rumor claims that Apple will also release a third generation iPad as a "big fall surprise" later this year.
If the Apple staffer is to be believed, it appears as if this rumor could very well turn out to be true. The question is: If Apple is planning on releasing an iPad 3 later this year, will it tell us about it tomorrow, or keep it a secret?
The iPad 2 is rumored to sport front and rear facing cameras, a thinner, lighter design, and a relocated speaker. It will be unveiled on stage tomorrow, at Apple's special event.
AppAdvice will be present and accounted for at tomorrow's event, so be sure to tune in for iPad 2 coverage as it happens.
