Printopia 2 For Mac - AirPrint Just Got Better

April 18, 2011
Printopia, the Mac app that allows iOS users to greatly expand AirPrint's capabilities, has just been updated. Now, Printopia 2 allows users to AirPrint content to any Mac app that can preview the file type. For example, you can AirPrint a JPG to Preview - or a PDF to Adobe Reader. The "printing" process is quick and easy, and files sent to your Mac appear within seconds. Of course, you can also choose to AirPrint files directly to a printer connected to your computer. As you can see in the screenshots below, users of Printopia have a variety of print options to choose from. Fans of the app can now assign both virtual and real printers a password, and settings for paper size, trays, and colors, can be altered. Currently, a demo version of Printopia 2 can be downloaded for free. The full version costs $19.95. Check out the app, and let us know your thoughts in the comments. [gallery columns="2"]
