A Chance To Win A Copy And Become A Write-In Candidate For Political Fury

May 17, 2011
Political Fury was updated to v2.0 earlier this month, bringing a number of big additions to the app. To celebrate, Super Boise has teamed up with AppAdvice for an exclusive promotion and giveaway. The presidential race has no lack of excitement as citizens rally behind certain candidates. Candidates typically have a strong group of followers, but there are plenty of "fence sitters" to persuade. One of the reasons that a voter may be undecided is because none of the official candidates are extremely appealing to back. Such a situation is where write-in candidates look to shine. A write-in candidate is just that, where voters manually enter, or "write in," a name not listed on the ballot as an alternate choice. Pushing to be a write-in candidate is primarily to judge possible interest of voters without taking part in a full-fledged campaign. For those interested, here's your chance to enter to be a write-in candidate and see how well the Political Fury users feel about you compared to the official candidates. Grand prize winners will get a custom profile in the Political Fury app that provides the opportunity for others to vote, comment, and otherwise compare and back you as a potential leader. Of course, this is all in good fun, but one never knows how well it may turn out -- it may even give you an incentive to officially run for a political position sometime down the road. We will randomly choose two lucky participants, one from each political party, for the honor of having a candidate profile published in and a promo code for the Political Fury app. Three lucky runners-up will receive a promo code for the Political Fury: Primary 2012 Edition app. The two grand prize winners will be put in contact with Super Boise to create the candidate profile. To enter, leave a comment below or retweet this post, including identifying your party affiliation (Democrat or Republican), before 11:59 PM PDT tonight (May 17th). Please be sure to designate your political party for a valid entry. Taking a quick glance of Political Fury, the quiz game is one of the biggest components of the app, pitting your political wits against those of the opposite party. The trivia includes topics of geography, history, politicians, and more. The trivia database was last updated May 12th and contains a total of 947 questions to test the accuracy and completeness of your knowledge. The Primary Center lists all of the current running candidates, and offers up political-centric profiles for each one. Along with the overview topics, check out the top three notable positions and notable criticisms, Twitter feed, Facebook page, campaign page, Wikipedia entry, YouTube channel, and even a “fun fact.” In order to take advantage of the new forums and pledge your support for a candidate, the Primary 2012 Edition brings user profiles to the feature list. Your profile, or otherwise known as the “Hub” in the main menu, is composed of your username, age, gender, home location, political party affiliation, game history and statistics, and feed subscriptions. The new discussion forum contains sections for My Topics, Most Viewed, Trending, Active Topics, and New Topics. Despite Political Fury being focused on informing voters and providing a little fun, the forum will certainly be a hit once more get involved. Most who put a lot of time and effort into politics have plenty to share, including opinions. Super Boise doesn’t mind heated debates, and only requires that users “keep it clean." Want to visit the world of Political Fury without needing to take out the pocketbook? Head to the App Store and download Political Fury Lite for absolutely free. Political Fury: Primary 2012 Edition is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPhone 3GS, third generation iPod touch and newer running iOS 32 or later, and available in the App Store now at the discounted price of just $.99.
